A DOG was rescued by firefighters after getting stuck between a garage and garden wall.
The incident on Firs Road in Firsdown was reported to Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service yesterday (Monday, October 19) at around 4.10pm.
A crew from Salisbury attended and used small tools to rescue the 11-year-old Border Collie.
Part of the wall had to be cut away to free the dog.
A spokesperson for the fire service said: "We were called to Firs Road, Firsdown at 4.08pm yesterday afternoon. One crew from Salisbury attended the incident – they used small tools to release a dog who’d gotten stuck between a garage and garden wall. The stop came at 5.03pm. The dog didn’t suffer any injuries."
