TRAFFIC was forced to stop during a fight on Blue Boar Row last night (October 19).
The altercation took place at around 10.10pm last night outside the old Debenhams store, spilling out into the road at one point, causing traffic to stop.
An 18-year-old and a 17-year-old were arrested and taken to Melksham Police Station where they remain in custody.
LCI Jody Kinge said: "We would like to hear from anyone who may have seen this incident yesterday evening.
"Numerous vehicles passed the individuals involved and at one point those fighting stumbled into the road causing vehicles to stop.
"If you heard or saw anything suspicious in this busy area of the city around this time yesterday please come forward; also, if you have any dashcam footage of the incident then please contact us."
