A FORDINGBRIDGE business is showing its support for struggling families in the town over the half-term.
Bubbles Soft Play and Gelato on Salisbury Street is providing free lunch boxes for children that need them.
This comes after England football star Marcus Rashford’s bid to extend free school meals over the holidays was voted against by MPs, including New Forest West MP Sir Desmond Swayne.
Manager Jordan Kinsey said: “On our menu we do a lunch box so we just thought we would give anyone that needs one one of those [boxes] with a sandwich, yoghurt and a drink and fruit or veg in. They can chose what sandwich - cheese, ham or Marmite."

"As we are mainly a cafe that caters for children, we thought we should do it because we get lots of families in so it would be nice to help out," she added.
"For a cafe giving away a sandwich isn't going to break the bank so if we can help then we will."
Contact Bubbles Soft Play and Gelato 30 minutes before collecting the boxes on 01425 657577.
