Wiltshire Council will be broadcasting a live Covid-19 update to answer residents' questions.

On 5pm on Tuesday November 3, Wiltshire Council Leader, Cllr Philip Whitehead will be joined by Terence Herbert, Chief Executive of Wiltshire Council and Kate Blackburn, Director of Public Health for Wiltshire to provide the latest information on positive cases, the rate of new cases in Wiltshire, and the arrangements in place to mitigate the spread of the virus.

There will also be details on how schools, care homes and council services are responding to the situation and planning for the coming weeks.

Residents can submit their questions about Covid-19 and the local response in advance by emailing communications@wiltshire.gov.uk no later than 5pm on Sunday November 1.

The live briefing will be broadcast via Microsoft Teams and viewers should use this link to access the broadcast.

The briefing will also be recorded and available via the council’s YouTube channel afterwards.

Cllr Philip Whitehead said: “There is a great deal of information out there nationally but this will be an opportunity to share details on a local level and for residents to ask questions which affect their lives and where they live. I hope people will join us and by sharing information in this way we all continue to work together to keep Wiltshire safe.”
