Heard at Salisbury Magistrates:

MARC SANDERS, aged 45, of Station Road, Sturminster Newton, indicated a plea of guilty to causing the death of James Pitt, by driving without due care and attention. The incident happened on September 23 last year, when Sanders was driving an Isuzu lorry along the A303 at Beacon Hill. He was committed to prison for three months suspended for 12 months and was ordered to pay a surcharge to fund victim services of £122 and costs of £85. Sanders was disqualified from holding a driving licence for one year.

CLAIR EVELY, aged 46, of Westwood Road, Salisbury, indicated a plea of guilty to assaulting a man, causing actual bodily harm, in Salisbury on February 14. She was ordered to pay a surcharge to fund victim services of £90 and costs of £45 and she must carry out 120 hours of unpaid work. Evely must also attend appointments and activities as instructed by officers.

JAMIE JONES, aged 31, of Carmelite Way, Salisbury, indicated a plea of guilty to possessing heroin in Salisbury on March 9. He was fined £80 and was ordered to pay a surcharge to fund victim services of £32.

Heard at Swindon Magistrates:

ALEX BROMWICH, aged 24, of Redwing Road, Chatham, was guilty of driving without due care and attention. The incident took place on September 24 last year when Bromwich was driving a Vauxhall Astra along Lahore Road in Tidworth. He was fined £228 and was ordered to pay a surcharge to fund victim services of £32 and costs of £110. His driving record was endorsed with six points.

TYLER WILCOX, aged 25, of Hulse Road, Salisbury, was found guilty of using a car without the appropriate policy of insurance. The incident took place on March 3 when a Volkswagen Golf was used along London Road in Salisbury. Wilcox was fined £440 and was ordered to pay a surcharge to fund victim services of £44 and costs of £110. His driving record was endorsed with six points.

JAMES PHILLPOTTS, aged 24, of no fixed abode, pleaded guilty to breaching a closure order. On October 8 he remained in a premises in Wick Lane in Downton, despite a closure order made by Salisbury Magistrates Court. Phillpotts indicated a plea of guilty to failing to complete a weekly no fixed abode notification by August 21. He was committed to prison for 20 weeks and was ordered to pay a surcharge to fund victim services of £128.
