A WOMAN in her 30s was arrested for drink driving, after a car was found on its roof in a field.
Dorset Police officers were called to the scene at around 8pm on Wednesday, October 28, to reports of a crash involving a Honda Civic on the A30 Stour Hill near West Stour.
Here the car was found upside down.
A 38-year-old woman from Somerset was arrested at the scene and taken to hospital for treatment to a minor head injury.
She has since been charged with driving a car when her alcohol level was above the legal limit, and she is due to appear at Poole Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday January 12, 2021.
A spokesperson for North Dorset Police said: "[Police] attended a report of single vehicle RTC [road traffic collision] on the A30 between WestStour and Henstridge [October 28].
"Driver found by other officers uninjured nearby and blew over the drink drive limit. Outcome could have been much worse."
