Police investigating a burglary at a Salisbury restaurant have released a CCTV image of a man they wish to speak to.
A man was spotted going into the staff area of a restaurant on New Canal in Salisbury at around 2.45pm on September 23.
He is believed to have stolen a wallet containing a number of bank cards.
The thief then attempted to use the cards to make a number of transactions around the city.
PC Harry Evans, from the Salisbury Area Community Policing Team, said: “I appreciate this CCTV image doesn’t show this man’s face clearly, but I believe that if people know him then they will recognise him from the picture.
“He is also carrying a distinctive orange-coloured shopping bag which might help jog your memory.”
The appeal for information was published on Salisbury Police's Facebook page on Monday morning (November 9).
Anyone with information should call PC Evans on 101, quoting crime reference 54200096063.
Alternatively you can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
