Man charged with assaulting police called to disperse group breaching restrictions
A MAN is to appear in court charged with assaulting officers who were investigating a breach of national restrictions in Fordingbridge.
It is alleged that two officers were assaulted while trying to disperse a group breaching the national restrictions at around 6pm on Saturday (November 7).
Lee John Wells, of no fixed abode, was charged with two counts of assaulting emergency workers.
The 38-year-old was bailed and is due to re-appear at Southampton Magistrates' Court on Thursday, December 10.
