NHS staff and care workers will be able to park for free in Dorset Council-run car parks during lockdown.
Dorset Council has announced it will suspend car parking charges in off-street car parks for NHS and care workers until December 2.
Users must display a permit in their windscreen when parking for free.
The council offered a similar service during the first lockdown where all key workers were permitted to park in off-street car parks for free.
This time, however, only NHS and care workers will be able to use the free service.
A spokesman for Dorset Council said: "Last time we offered the free parking to all key workers but this time it does not extend to those key workers who do not work in the NHS or who are not care workers.
"It also does not extend to volunteers.
"The free parking only applies to off-street parking and does not apply to on-street parking."
