A BANK card was stolen from a car and used at a Shaftesbury petrol station earlier this month, with two fraudulent transactions totalling £50.

Police officers are now appealing for more information and identification of the man pictured above.

Dorset Police says that the victim’s bank card was reportedly stolen from their vehicle in Christy’s Lane between 9.30pm on November 1 and 12.30am on November 2.

The card was used twice at around 12.30am at the Esso petrol station at Ivy Cross, costing a total value of £50.89.

Police Community Support Investigator Kate Hann of Dorset Police said: “We have been making enquiries into this matter and have obtained CCTV images of a man who is believed to have used the stolen bank card.

“I would urge anyone with information as to his identity to please contact us.”
