A “WINTER WANDERLAND” is being created to get Ringwood residents in the Christmas spirit.
Due to the coronavirus pandemic many of the larger Christmas events in the town have had to be cancelled.
So Ringwood Events Team and Ringwood Town Council is organising a ‘Ringwood Winter Wanderland’ with walking trails showcasing winter displays in shops, businesses and homes, as well as the town Christmas lights, provided by the town council.
Father Christmas will be making some special “virtual” appearances and there will be other initiatives in Ringwood such as the toy collection for the Rotary Christmas appeal and a Drive-In Service organised by Churches Together.
Businesses and organisations are invited to get involved with the Christmas window display competition.
The whole community can take part in the Winter Wanderland by decorating their own windows during December.
