A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving following a motorway pile-up in Southampton.
A 32-year-old man from Portsmouth has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
It comes after a man in his 60s was killed in a serious crash on the M271 on Tuesday morning.
The incident involved a heavy goods vehicle, Nissan Navara, Mercedes Vito van and a Citroën Relay.
The man who died was driving the Citroën and is reported to have been from Sussex.
The man from Portsmouth has since been released under investigation.
Enquiries into the exact circumstances of the collision are ongoing.
