Lyme Regis' Christmas decorations are now lighting up Broad Street with a display of shining white lights and snowflakes.
Unable to hold the usual festive switch-on event due to limitations as a result of the coronavirus pandemic and government restrictions, the lights were switched on at the weekend by local Joshua Denning accompanied by the mayor, mayoress and the town crier.
The lights have been switched on earlier than usual, as organisers wanted to bring some happiness and cheer to the town. This year the festive display has been extended to include the Cobb area.
A spokesman for the event, put together by Love Lyme Regis, said: "Love Lyme Regis is proud to be involved in the organisation of the town’s Christmas lights and we really hope the display lifts everyone’s spirits."
