FIREFIGHTERS were called to a chimney fire in a Dorset village last night.
Firefighters attended the chimney fire at a home in Gold Hill, Child Okeford, near Sturminster Newton, at 8.21pm.
Crews extinguished the fire using one hose reel jet and safe working at height equipment.
A spokesman for Sturminster Newton Fire Station said: "Our fire service has been to a number chimney fires this month. If you haven't already had yours swept ready for winter, make sure you get yours cleaned before the cold weather kicks in.
