A FIREARM has been used to damage road signs in a Dorset village, it has been reported.

Dorset Police officers were made aware of the damages in Mill Street, Fontmell Magna, at around 11.15am yesterday, November 30, allegedly caused by a firearm.

Salisbury Journal:

Inspector Simon Perry of Dorset police said: “I understand there might be concern in the community in relation to this matter but I would like to reassure residents that a full investigation is underway.

“I would urge anyone who has seen any suspicious activity in the area recently or has any other information that might assist our enquiries to please contact us.

“Local officers will be increasing their patrols and can be approached by members of the public with any concerns.”
