Car flips onto roof after aquaplaning
A MAJOR road was closed after a car aquaplaned and flipped onto its roof.
A silver BMW flipped onto its roof after aquaplaning on the A31.
Lanes one and four of the eastbound carriageway were closed near to Ringwood on Saturday, December 5.
Motorists were warned of lane closures for much of the day as Highways England dealt with standing water.
Meanwhile, police are urging drivers to slow down in light of poor conditions.
No injuries have been reported.
A police spokesperson said: "The report came in at 8.19am.
"A vehicle went into a ditch but the driver appears to not be injured.
"There are some concerns about standing water on the carriageway in the area and Highways have been called out to deal with it."
