FORDINGBRIDGE Surgery has announced that it has been chosen as one of the first GP practices in the country to start providing the Covid-19 vaccination.
A post on the surgery's Facebook page said: "We are pleased to announce that Fordingbridge Surgery is one of the first GP practices in the country to start providing the Covid-19 vaccination.
"We will be vaccinating patients at Fordingbridge Hospital. We will be inviting our eldest patients first, starting before Christmas."
The surgery says it will be contacting eligible patients.
It is also in urgent need of volunteers to help guide patients to and from the vaccination centre at Fordingbridge Hospital from Monday, December 21 to Thursday, December 24.
