A "LARGE quantity" of cannabis plants was found in Shaftesbury earlier this week.
Officers attended an address in Bell Street at around 2.30pm on Tuesday, December 15, and carried out a search of the property.
What was described by police as a "large quantity of cannabis plants" was located inside the premises.
A man aged in his 20s has been arrested on suspicion of producing a class B drug and is assisting officers with their enquiries.
As of 4pm yesterday, Dorset Police said: "Officers remained at the address carrying out enquiries and a cordon is in place."
