A MAN who broke a hoover and attacked another man must pay more than £1,200 in costs and fines.
Brian Scott Durham damaged a Karcher vacuum cleaner worth £359.
He also attacked a man during an incident in Leven Avenue, Bournemouth on April 29.
Durham of Sherriff Mount South in Gateshead was found guilty of assault by beating and criminal damage.
Appearing at Southampton Magistrates' Court on Tuesday he was slapped with a 12-month restraining order not to contact his victim.
The 54-year-old was fined £250 and ordered to pay £359 in compensation.
He must pay £620 in costs and a £34 victim surcharge.
