These are the latest figures on coronavirus cases across Salisbury, as case rates continue to soar.

All parts of Salisbury and the surrounding areas have seen rates rise to between 400 and 800 cases per 100,000 people.

In Bemerton, Harnham and Bishopdown rates are now higher than 800.

This is the latest Public Health England data available, which refers to the seven days to January 5.

The figures are broken down by small areas with an average population of 7,200 called Middle Super Output Areas (MSOAs).

  • Amesbury (81 cases; +46 on previous week; rolling rate of 655.7) 
  • Laverstock, Bodenham & Coombe Bissett (60 cases; +32 on previous week; rolling rate of 661.4) 
  • Churchfields (44 cases; +7 on previous week; rolling rate of 652.6)
  • Tidworth & Ludgershall (115 cases; +54 on previous week; rolling rate of 635.9) 
  • Salisbury Town North & Milford (34 cases; +5 on previous week; rolling rate of 556.6)
  • Stratford (32 cases; +23 on previous week; rolling rate of 545.1)
