PLANS have been submitted for 24 three storey town houses to be built in Ludgershall.

The application is seeking full planning permission for the site at Parnham Coaches on Andover Road, which includes the demolition of the former coach depot buildings and a bungalow.

It has been submitted on behalf of Stonewater Housing.

The cover letter states that the applicant is an affordable housing provider and intends to deliver the development as "100 per cent affordable".

Previous plans for the site were submitted last year, for 28 homes.

The old application included four two-bed houses and 15 three-bed houses as well as nine two-bed flats.

Those houses would have been two storeys in height and arranged in short terraces of a maximum of four homes or semi-detached.

The flats were to be contained in a two-storey block.

An outline application for 24 three-storey town houses on the depot site was previously approved subject to conditions by Wiltshire Council in 2017.

The site is located behind the Tesco Express and vehicle access would be via Andover Road, which also provides access to the nearby shops and businesses.

This application is for the same character and description on the same site by the same applicant as application 20/08676/REM which was withdrawn in November of last year.
