ANOTHER four patients have died at Salisbury District Hospital after testing positive for Covid-19 - bringing the total to have died there to 107.

As of 8.15am today (January 15), there are 163 in-patients who have tested positive for Covid-19 being treated.

A hospital spokesperson said: "Sadly, we can confirm that another four patients who had been cared for at Salisbury District Hospital have died.

"Two patients, a woman in her nineties and a man in his eighties died on January 13.

"Two patients, a man in his seventies and a man in his nineties, died on January 15.

"All had underlying health conditions.

"Our thoughts and condolences are with the patients’ families and loved ones at this very difficult and distressing time."

The total number of patients that have died at Salisbury District Hospital after receiving a Covid-19 positive test result is now 107.
