ROADS in north Dorset were closed earlier today due to multiple driving accidents.
Police had closed the B3081 between Shaftesbury and Gillingham, and again between Gillingham and the A303 junction.
This was due to vehicles skidding on ice and crashing off road.
Officers were on scene during the freezing conditions and incidents.
Both parts of the B road have now reopened, but Dorset Police has urged drivers to adjust their speed in line with the weather and temperature drop.
