BURGLARS stole a chainsaw and four full fuel cans after breaking into an outbuilding near Shaftesbury.
Dorset Police said the raid took place overnight Sunday into Monday, the night of January 17, and the fuel cans were found empty and discarded nearby.
Officers have urged people in the area to check the security of their properties and to keep things locked and secure.
