A man has denied trying to bite a nurse at Salisbury District Hospital.
Cameron Mackay, 33, was said to have attempted to bite the nurse who, together with security staff, was trying to get him to leave hospital property on Friday night.
Appearing before Swindon Magistrates’ Court on Saturday morning via video link from Melksham police station, Mackay, of Rougement Close, Salisbury, pleaded not guilty to assaulting an emergency worker, causing a nuisance on NHS property and disorderly behaviour.
He was bailed for the trial at Salisbury Magistrates’ Court on March 1.
Under the conditions of his bail he must not go to Salisbury District Hospital unless in a genuine emergency or to attend pre-arranged medical appointments.
