A VAN collided with a pelican crossing in Salisbury this morning (Wednesday, January 27) and ended up getting wedged against the central reservation.
Police were called just after 7.30am to reports of a single vehicle collision on the A36, Southampton Road.
A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said: "A Mercedes Sprinter van had collided with a pelican crossing on the A36, Salisbury, and had become wedged against the central reservation.
"The driver was not believed to have suffered any injuries.
"There was traffic build up in the area while work was carried out to remove the van and ensure street furniture was safe.
"No arrests have been made."
