Firefighters' warning after vehicle rescue - Picture from Sturminster Newton Fire Station
FIREFIGHTERS are warning people of the dangers of driving through flood water after they had to rescue a stuck vehicle.
A crew from Sturminster Newton Fire Station was called to reports of a vehicle stuck in flood water on Lower Road, Stalbridge, near Bibbern Bridge, at 11.57am on Saturday, January 30.
No casualties were involved.
A spokesperson for Sturminster Newton Fire Station said: "Please take extra care if you need to drive anywhere and please do not drive through flood water.
"Stay safe and visit our website for more flood safety advice."
