POLICE are reminding residents that it is illegal to ride electric-skateboards on footpaths and roads in the UK.
This comes after an officer saw "a few" being used in Shaftesbury last night, February 3.
The rider of the pictured e-skateboard was spoken to and was warned it could be seized if used in future.
A Dorset police officer said: "I saw a few of these around Shaftesbury this evening [last night], e-skateboards, currently they are illegal to use on footpaths and roads in the UK.
"Like e-scooters they are legally sold but as yet no laws have been instigated to make their use legal barring in trail areas where some e-scooters can be hired."
