SNOW and flood warnings have been issued for the Salisbury area over the next few days - with the forecast saying "be prepared".
On the government website, it says groundwater levels on Salisbury Plain are set to rise further over the next few days, bringing a risk of flooding to minor roads across the area.
The rate of rise is expected to level off between February 5 and 10 as a "colder drier spell will bring some relief".
It also warns that a combination of flood water and icy conditions will make roads "treacherous".

A warning for homes and businesses has also been issued, saying "pumping equipment and property level protection measures should be set out where available".
It says: "Take care that pumping during freezing conditions does not pose a risk to the public. Consider obtaining supplies of rock salt to prevent ice forming around discharge areas.

"Warmer, wetter weather is expected to return from the 12th February which will cause groundwater levels to continue their upward trend.
"Environment Agency staff will continue to monitor the situation and will update this message on Friday the 5th February or sooner if the situation changes.
"Flood Wardens are requested to report flood incidents".

Yellow warnings of snow and ice have also been issued for Salisbury on Saturday and Sunday.
Temperatures are expected to drop over the weekend, with snow showers from the far north-east of the UK spreading southwards, and a chance of heavier snow for a time in the south.
There is a small chance of travel delays on roads with some stranded vehicles and passengers, along with delayed or cancelled rail and air travel
There is also a "small chance that power cuts will occur and other services, such as mobile phone coverage, may be affected".
