SOME of the cases heard by Salisbury Magistrates':

RICHARD BURRELL, aged 33, of Ivy Street, Salisbury, pleaded guilty to intentionally damaging property to the value of £186 on September 9 last year. He was ordered to pay compensation of £186.

DANIEL MILLER, aged 42, of Middle Street, Brighton, pleaded guilty to driving under the influence of drugs in Salisbury. On June 22, 2019, Miller was driving a Mini along Downton Road with delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol in his blood - an ingredient identified in cannabis. He also did not have the appropriate licence. Miller indicated a plea of guilty to possessing cannabis. He was fined £180, and was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £32 and costs of £85. He was disqualified from holding a driving licence for 12 months.

Heard by Swindon Magistrates’:

ANGUS RICHARDSON, aged 19, of Knighton Road, Broad Chalke, pleaded guilty to driving under the influence of drugs. On January 12 last year Richardson was driving a Vauxhall Corsa along Southampton Road, Salisbury, with delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol in his blood. He was fined £120 and ordered to pay a surcharge of £34 and costs of £85. He was disqualified from holding a driving licence for 12 months.

DAVID BARRACLOUGH, aged 51, of Martin Way, Andover, was found guilty of speeding in Salisbury. The defendant was driving a Mercedes-Benz along the A303 in Woodbine Hill on May 16 last year, exceeding 70mph. He was fined £692 and was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £69 and costs of £110. He was disqualified from holding a driving licence for 28 days.

ALBERTO GIURGIUVEANU, aged 22, of Gainsborough Close, Salisbury, was found guilty of driving a Vauxhall Meriva along Festival Avenue in Salisbury on October 31, 2019, without the appropriate policy of insurance. He was fined £660 and was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £66 and costs of £110. His driving record was endorsed with six points.

JORDAN HUNNS, aged 19, of Glebe Road, Durrington, pleaded guilty to driving under the influence of drugs. On March 5 last year Hunns was driving a Volkswagen Polo along Church Lane in Amesbury with delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol in his blood. He was fined £230 and was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £32 and costs of £85. He was disqualified from holding a driving licence for 12 months.
