IT has been a busy week for firefighters who have been called out to deal with a car fire, dog rescue and flooded property.
A car was badly damaged after a fire on the A31 near Ashley Heath.
A crew from Ringwood along with firefighters from Christchurch were called to the incident at around 9.15am on Thursday, February 11 involving a Volvo car and was extinguished by firefighters wearing breathing apparatus and a hose reel jet.
The incident was dealt with by 9.55am. Dorset Police were also requested to attend.
A day earlier, a dog was rescued by firefighters after getting stuck in a rabbit hole in Rockford.
Toby, a 12-year-old Jack Russell, had to be dug out by firefighters from Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service on Wednesday, February 10.
Firefighters were called to Church Avenue in Cranborne at 8.23am on Friday to a rescue from height. But the casualty managed to rescue herself from the tree. One crew from Fordingbridge attended but no action was needed.
Later that day firefighters from Ringwood and Fordingbridge put out a chimney fire on Salisbury Street, Cranborne at 8.53am. The incident was dealt with by 11.07am.
On Sunday (February 14), firefighters were called to reports of flooding at a property in Euston Grove, Ringwood at around 10.40am.
They isolated the leak to prevent further flooding into other properties.
