SEVERAL roads throughout the city centre are due to be closed temporarily to all traffic.

Blue Boar Row will be closed from 7pm to 6am, between Wednesday February 24 to Sunday February 28.

On Sunday, February 28, the restrictions will be in place for 24 hours.

The closure will be in force on the road from its junction with Castle Street to to its junction Winchester Street, and on Winchester Street from its junction with Endless Street to its junction with Rollestone Street.

Endless Street, from its junction with Blue Boar Row to its junction with Salt Lane, will also be closed.

The closures are to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out carriageway resurfacing and associated works.

The roads shall be covered by a No Waiting at Any Time restriction.

Other roads to be temporarily to all traffic include:

A) A354 (Part), Britford and Coombe Bissett; from its junction with Footpath 13, Britford for a distance of approximately 3 kilometres in a southerly direction to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out Carriageway resurfacing and associated works.

This Order will come into operation on March 15, between the hours of 7am and 7pm until April 9. For more information call Carys Rhys-Jones on 01225 730360.

B) Kitchener Road (Part), Amesbury; from its junction with A345 for a distance of approximately 115 metres in an easterly direction to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out resurfacing and associated works.

This Order will come into operation on Saturday, March 20, and the closure will be required between the hours of 7am and 5pm for one day.

C) St Edmund's Church Street (Part), Salisbury; from its junction with Salt Lane to its junction with Winchester Street to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out Carriageway Resurfacing and associated works.

Access to Resident parking will be allowed from Monday to Saturday, from 8am to 6pm - Zone E permit holders only will be prohibited for the duration of the works.

This Order will come into operation on March 01, and the closure will be required between the hours of 9am and 4pm until March 5.

D) Sidney Street (Part), Salisbury; from its junction with York Road for its remaining length in a southerly direction to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out Carriageway resurfacing and associated works.

Access to Resident parking Mon-Sat 8am-6pm Zone D permit holders only will be prohibited for the duration of the works.

No alternative route is available; access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible.

This Order will come into operation on February 22 and the closure will be required between the hours of 9am and 4pm until February 23.

Newton Lane, Whiteparish, will also close temporarily to all traffic, from its junction with Hop Gardens for a distance of approximately 200 metres in a westerly direction to enable BT to carry out carry out equipment testing and associated works.

The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs.

This order, which previously came into operation on, February 5, will now recommence on February 26, and the closure will be required between the hours of 8am and 5pm for one day.

Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works
