A TEENAGE drug dealer had his bedroom raided five times in just four months.

Harley Haynes was spotted riding his bike by plain-clothed police officers in New Milton.

They chased the teen when they suspected him of drug dealing, a court heard.

After a pursuit he “voluntarily produced” a number of deal bags with a value of around £30.

Prosecution barrister, Kaj Scarsbrook, told that a court hearing that after searching his bedroom in Moore Close, they found scales, and cannabis worth around £600.

The 18-year-old was spotted by the same officers on April 24. When they stopped him, he had £20 in cash and four deal bags.

They searched his address finding £130 in cash, more cannabis and a “handwritten deal list”.

Other incidents took place on May 13, June 23 and July 5.

During searches of Haynes's home address, officers found £100 in cash and when they seized his mobile phone a message came through from someone saying they needed another deal.

They also found deal bags with the initials ‘HH’ printed on.

During police interviews Haynes was “full and frank” making full admissions.

Appearing before Southampton Crown Court on Thursday, Haynes faced six charges including possession with intent to supply a controlled drug, two counts of being concerned in the supply of a controlled drug and possessing criminal property - £260 in cash. He previously pleaded guilty.

Mitigating, Ellie Fargin argued her client had not reoffended since last year and that he suffered from autism. She cited tensions at the teenager’s home.

Recorder Charles Langley gave Haynes an 18-month community order to include six months of drug rehabilitation and 35 activity days. He was ordered to carry out 100 hours of unpaid work.
