2020 was a year to forget for festival-goers but with the successful vaccine rollout and a roadmap out of lockdown, there is renewed hope for 2021.
Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced earlier this week that nightclubs could reopen from June 21 - the date in which the ban on large events and gatherings could also be lifted, allowing festivals to take place.
Although a large number of events have already been cancelled due to the uncertainty of the pandemic, organisers of some festivals have announced their events will still be happening.
These are 5 festivals not too far from Salisbury that are going ahead as planned later this summer:
Reading & Leeds Festival
Following the Government's announcement, organisers of Reading & Leeds Festival tweeted to confirm the happy news.
"We can't wait to get back to the fields this summer," they said in a tweet.

Headline acts include Stormzy and Liam Gallagher.
End of the Road Festival
The popular event in Larmer Tree Gardens will also make a comeback later this summer.
Tickets are now sold out.
A statement on its website reads: "It has been a strange year and we’d like to extend the biggest THANK YOU to everybody who’s bought a ticket and stood with us through these tough times.
"We can’t wait to see you in September for a well deserved weekend of incredible LIVE music, pints with pals and a whole lot of dancing!"
End of the Road will take place from September 2 to September 5.
Camp Bestival
In neighbouring Dorset, Camp Bestival will go ahead as planned in the grounds of Lulworth Castle.
In a statement, curator Rob da Bank said: “There is literally nothing Josie and I like more in life than standing in a field surrounded by family and friends, dressed in daft outfits dancing to amazing bands and DJs... and Mr Tumble... and that’s exactly what we plan to be doing at Camp Bestival in 154 days, 15 hours and 27 minutes... not that we’re counting.”
The event will take place between July 29 and August 1.
Fatboy Slim, Groove Armada, Kelis and Sophie Ellis-Bextor are among the headline acts.
Boomtown
One theatre lovers won't want to miss...
Boomtown near Winchester will return between August 11 and August 15.
Tickets for this event are also sold out but there will be a re-sale of returned tickets in May.
A statement on the festival's website reads: "We are completely overwhelmed by the support shown by our incredible community... Please rest assured we will be doing everything possible to make sure that we can come together this August for the ultimate celebration."
