TWO teenage boys were "threatened with violence" in an attempted robbery.

The incident took place at around 5pm on Monday, February 15, at a garage area between Greencroft Street and the Salisbury ring road, Churchill Way East.

It is reported that two 15-year-old boys on bikes were approached by a group of three boys who allegedly threatened them with violence and attempted to steal from them.

Det Con Hannah Milburn said: “Fortunately, the two boys were able to cycle away unharmed from the incident.

“Our enquiries are ongoing but we understand that there were others in the area at the time who may have crucial information that could assist us in identifying who these three boys are.

“We are particularly interested in speaking with a man who was in a white van parked nearby, along with delivery people and dog walkers in the vicinity.”

Anyone who was in the area between 4.30pm and 5.30pm and may have seen this group of boys or have any information that could assist with the investigation is asked to contact police on 101 and quote crime reference number 54210015208.
