A school near Salisbury has come up with an ingenious way to get children into reading.
To mark World Book Day, which this year falls on Thursday March 4, Wilton CE Primary School has taken inspiration from a popular guessing game.
Staff at the Burcombe Lane site have created videos of themselves reading extracts from their favourite books, using digital filters, in the format of ITV's The Masked Singer.
Anthony Rahman, the English Subject Leader at the school, said the videos were a way to raise awareness of the importance of reading "in a fun and engaging way".
