AN investigation has been launched after a parked van was damaged.

A Ford Transit van that was parked on Dorchester Road near to Greenhill Dental Practice in Weymouth was damaged between 2.30pm and 4.30pm on Friday, February 26.

Damage was caused to both sides of the vehicle, the bonnet and the rear doors. It is also reported that one of the tyres was flat.

Officers investigating the criminal damage are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.

Police Constable George Andrews, of Weymouth police, said: “I am appealing to anyone who was in the area and may have witnessed what happened to please get in touch.

“I would also ask any motorists who were travelling along Dorchester Road and may have captured anything of relevance on dashcam footage to please come forward.”
