COVID-19 may have halted life as we know it, but it can't stop school pupils dressing up for World Book Day!
Children and young people across the country will be transforming into their favourite literary characters today to celebrate the occasion.
With the fancy dress event held on March 4 each year, World Book Day is a registered charity with the mission to give every child and young person a book of their own.
If your child is taking part today, we’d love to see pictures of them in their costumes.
If you have a mini Harry Potter, Matilda or even Gangsta Granny, take a picture and we'll upload your photos to a gallery!

Time for your World Book Day snaps!
Send us a picture of your child or children dressed up for World Book Day, and it may be featured in our online gallery or in the paper!
