ANOTHER patient at Salisbury District Hospital has died after testing positive for Covid-19.
The woman in her 80s had underlying health conditions and died on Thursday, March 4.
The total number of patients that have died at the city's hospital after receiving a positive test result for Covid-19 is now 202.
A statement from the hospital said: "Sadly, we can confirm that another patient who had been cared for at Salisbury District Hospital and had tested positive for Covid-19 has died.
"A woman in her 80s with underlying health conditions died on 04th March 2021.
"Our thoughts and condolences are with the patient’s family and loved ones at this very difficult and distressing time.
"The total number of patients that have died at Salisbury District Hospital after receiving a COVID-19 positive test result is now 202."
