PATIENTS in their 80s and above will be returning to have their second dose of the Covid vaccine this week in Fordingbridge.

The Avon Valley Primary Care Network, which is made up of Fordingbridge Surgery, Ringwood Medical Centre, Cornerways Medical Centre in Ringwood and Twin Oaks Surgery in Bransgore, started rolling out the vaccinations at the Fordingbridge Hospital site during the week of December 21.

A post on the Fordingbridge Surgery Facebook page today (March 10) said: "Avon Valley Primary Care Network staff and patients aged 80 and over are returning to the Fordingbridge Hospital site this week for their second Covid vaccination.

"We are now inviting over 50s via text or telephone call to have their Covid vaccine at this vaccination centre and our volunteer marshals are on site to guide you all safely to and from your appointment."
