A CITY Ranger has been giving Salisbury a Spring Clean, ready for moving towards the end of lockdown.

Andy Milton, a Salisbury BID City Ranger, has been cleaning signs, re-painting, and removing signposts from the central car park that are either old or redundant.

It follows feedback to the BID from levy payers which identified areas that could be improved ready for the city reopening.

Salisbury BID Business Manager, Dan Collins, says: “Now that we have a roadmap out of lockdown we can work towards making our city look its best in time for welcoming visitors back.

"We know first impressions mean a lot so the work Salisbury BID and Salisbury City Council is undertaking will make sure visitors see our city in the best light. We want to encourage people back and this is just one of the ways we hope to do that.”
