A MAN has been arrested in connection with an alleged assault in the car park of Morrisons in Verwood.
The alleged attack occurred at around 4.25pm on February 23.
Police say that it was reported that a man in his 20s was approached by another man and punched a number of times, causing him to fall to the ground.
The victim lost one tooth as a result of the alleged assault and another tooth was damaged.
A 24-year-old local man has been arrested on suspicion of assault occasioning actual bodily harm and has been released on police bail as officers continue their investigation.
