A yarn bomb has mysteriously appeared on top of a post box in a village near Salisbury.
Residents in Shrewton were surprised to see the knitted topper outside the post office.
They say it first appeared on Monday March 15.
"You can't really miss it," a villager said.
"It was a nice surprise, something light-hearted."
It is not the first time one of these displays was spotted in Shrewton.
A festive topper appeared last year around Christmas.
Yarn bombing is a form of temporary street art that uses crocheted or knitted yarn to decorate buildings, benches, lampposts, postboxes and fences.
