LEAFLETS circulating in the Downton and Redlynch area are fake, a food delivery business and police have warned.

Three people have now been arrested in connection with the leaflet distribution.

Wiltshire Farm Foods previously confirmed it has not been sending out leaflets, despite adverts associated with the business being received by residents over the last couple of days.

Wiltshire Police had been made aware of the fake leaflets, and had appealed to the public to get in touch if they spotted the culprits.

A spokesperson from the force said: "Local officers would like to thank the public for their help as thanks to their quick calls officers were able to intercept those who are believed to be involved.

"They are currently on their way to custody."

Wiltshire Farm foods has confirmed that these people are in no way associated to them.
