132 BAGS of litter and 17 vehicle tyres have been found on a five-mile stretch of road near Amesbury.
It comes as Wiltshire Council embark on a nine-week litter picking programme targeted at the A303 and A36.
On its Twitter page earlier today, it said that on the five-mile stretch of road between Amesbury and Cholderton, 132 bags of litter and 17 vehicle tyres were collected.
Last week saw the start of a 9 week litter picking programme targeted at the A303 & A36.
