AN AREA of decking and a fence panel was on fire when firefighters arrived on the scene of an incident in Verwood.
One fire engine from Verwood attended the fire in the open on Brook Drive, which was reported at around 3.15am yesterday (Wednesday, March 24).
A spokesperson for Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "On arrival, one fence panel and a small area of decking was on fire. Crews extinguished this using a hose reel."
The fire service says an incinerator had been used to burn some garden waste. The contents of the incinerator, which had been used to burn some garden waste, had been put into a bag and left on the decking, which started the fire.
