THESE five gorgeous dogs are looking for homes to call their own.

Although Dogs Trust Salisbury isn’t open for public browsing at the moment, the centre is still rehoming and taking in dogs.

New processes are in place to keep staff, visitors and adopters safe.

Claire Rowe, the rehoming centre manager at Dogs Trust Salisbury, said: “The four adorable dogs looking for their forever homes this month are John, Lexi and Soxs, Mike and Kane.

"They’re all very different but the one thing they have in common is the desire to find a loving family and a sofa to call their own."

1. John

Sensitive three-year-old Lurcher, John is looking for a home where he can thrive.

He can be a little shy when meeting people for the first time but soon comes around and, eventually, would love to have a snuggle with you and share playtimes in the garden.

John is looking for a home where he’ll be the only dog but he has been enjoying meeting other dogs out and about.

He enjoys a nice leisurely plod where he can explore and have a good sniff, but he’d love a good-sized, secure garden.

2. Kane

Kane is a sweet 11-year-old Miniature Pinscher who is looking for a quiet home to live out his twilight years.

He would prefer to be the only dog in an adult-only home where all the attention can be on him.

He’d love a secure garden where he can run around and play off-lead.

Kane can be a little worried when he first meets people, so would like to take things slowly to begin with until he trusts you.

3 & 4. Lexi & Soxs

Lexi and Soxs are an adorable golden oldie duo looking for a home together.

They are both nine-year-old Staffordshire Bull Terrier crosses and enjoy nothing more than keeping each other company.

They are looking for a calm, quiet home with a secure garden where they can relax and potter about together.

They enjoy a leisurely walk, followed by a snooze, curled up together on the sofa.

5. Mike

Mike is a gentle giant.

He is an extremely affectionate dog who wants nothing more than a loving home where he can share his huge heart with his new forever family.

He is looking for a quiet, adult-only home with few unannounced visitors. For this reason, Mike will need his own space where he can feel comfortable.

Mike loves his toys and loves playing outside, so a good-size, secure garden will be required for him to explore and play safely off lead.
