ENJOY a theatrical treat from the comfort of your own home.

Mrs Noah Fights Back!, written by April De Angelis, will performed via Zoom on April 16, 17 and 18.

It was originally performed as a piece of street theatre at an XR rally and is a feminist twist on Noah’s Ark with a strong environmental message.

Actor Poppy Abbott, who previously lived in London returned home to Tisbury following the pandemic, and was at a loss of what to do so decided to set up an online acting community and mentoring platform with a couple of actor friends called Untamed Community. An from this Untamed Productions was born.

She says a local activist called Susan Jonas approached her mum, Karen Lockyer- who has previously written and produced her own work, to put on a play called Mrs Noah Fights Back!.

Poppy says: “With theatres closed, my mum and I decided to put on the play digitally via Zoom. The beauty of this is the actors can be anywhere in the country and still be involved.

“I’ve put together a cast of actors across London and Birmingham and we will be performing this production 16th, 17th and 18th April. With original music, virtual backgrounds, animation and lots of puns, Mrs Noah is bound to bring you a burst of enjoyment in this new age of digital theatre.

It is suitable ages 10 and above. Tickets are £5 with 10 per cent of ticket sales going to Avon Needs Trees - a charity tackling deforestation in the South West.

There will also be a short Q&A after the performances with Nikki Jones from ANT. For more information go to untamedcommunity.com/productions
