COURT cases heard at Swindon Magistrates’:

JASPER PENTON, aged 23, of Fryern Court Road, Burgate, was found guilty of allowing another man to use a Citroen Berlingo along Brown Street in Salisbury on November 3, 2019, without the appropriate policy of insurance. Penton was fined £200 and was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £32 and costs of £110. He was disqualified from holding a driving licence for six months.

IONUT ALEXANDRU CIUBUC, aged 32, of Mapleridge Lane, Yate, was found guilty of driving a Ford Transit along The Close in Salisbury on November 30, 2019, without due care and attention. He was using the vehicle without the appropriate policy of insurance and two of the tyres were not at least the legal minimum tread depth. Ciubuc was fined £440 and was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £44 and costs of £110. His driving record was endorsed with nine points.

ROBERT KWIATKOWSKI, aged 40, of Conway Crescent, Ealing, was found guilty of driving offences in Salisbury. On May 30 last year Kwiatkowski was driving a Jaguar XE along the A303 Woodbine Hill at a speed exceeding 70mph. Inside the vehicle a seven-year-old was not using a booster seat and an adult man was not wearing a seatbelt. In total Kwiatkowski was fined £586 and was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £59 and costs of £110. He was disqualified from holding a driving licence for 56 days.

ROBERT MORRIS, aged 34, of Post Office Road, Bournemouth, was found guilty of driving a BMW B3 along Downton Road in Salisbury on April 15 last year at a speed exceeding 30mph. He was fined £660 and was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £66 and costs of £110. He was disqualified from holding a driving licence for 56 days.

MARTIN JAMES PATEMAN, aged 58, of Perrins Hill, Tintinhull, was found guilty of driving a Mercedes-Benz along the A303 in Chilmark on May 16 last year at a speed exceeding 70mph. He was fined £487 and was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £49 and costs of £110. Pateman’s driving record was endorsed with six points.

JOSHUA CORNFORTH, aged 30, of Middle Wallop, pleaded guilty to driving a Renault Trafic along Philip Road in Salisbury on March 22 last year with delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol in his blood - the main ingredient of cannabis. He was fined £150 and was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and costs of £85. He was disqualified from holding a driving licence for one year.

DAVID DILLING, aged 33, of Lumley Walk, Amesbury, pleaded guilty to driving with delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol in his blood. Dilling was caught exceeding the legal limit when he was driving a Citreon Xsara along Lumley Walk on May 1 last year. He was fined £100 and was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34. He was detained in the courthouse and disqualified from holding a driving licence for 12 months.

Cases heard at Salisbury Magistrates’:

JACK STEWART WILLIAM KNIGHT, aged 22, of Elmfield Close, Woodfalls, pleaded guilty to driving while exceeding the legal alcohol limit. When driving a Volkswagen Polo along Moor Lane, Whiteparish, on May 24 last year, Knight had 110 microgrammes of alcohol in 100ml of blood. He was fined £320 and was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and costs of £85. He was disqualified from holding a driving licence for 16 months.

DANIEL FUTCHER, aged 24, of Milton Road, Amesbury, pleaded guilty to driving a Mini Cooper along Southampton Road, Salisbury, on May 30 last year, with benzoylecgonine in his blood - the main metabolite of cocaine. He was fined £337 and was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and costs of £85. Futcher was disqualified from holding a driving licence for 12 months.
