A postbox in Salisbury has been yarn bombed by mystery knitters.

A woolly hat with flowers and bobbleheads has appeared on top of the postbox on the corner of St Francis Road and Oakway Road.

It was spotted by reader Stuart Fyfe who sent us these pictures.

Yarn bombs have been appearing quite often in the past month, much to the surprise of passers-by.

The knitted topper below was spotted in the village of Shrewton in March.
